After working 7 years in the wedding industry and currently serving as our Social Media Manager, Molly is thrilled to begin her journey in the wedding photography business! Jada joined our team in May of 2023 as Sales Manager. Jada can be found in the store on a daily basis making sure that all our bride's Pink Door Experience is everything she dreams of.

Best part of working with brides: Watching them say yes to their dream dress.
When not working: Spending time with friends and family.
Advice: To pick whatever dress makes them feel the happiest and not what others think.

Jan joined the BBG Team in August of 2022 as a stylist. In addition, she has quickly become our tuxedo expert. As a mother of two boys she loves making sure our Grooms look quite dapper on their wedding day.

When not working: Cook, eat, repeat! Go hiking and Art.

Favorite dress: Delia, does there have to be just one favorite?

Best part of working with brides: Seeing their happy face when they say "Yes" to the dress.

Advice: Take a deep breath, have an open mind and enjoy this moment. The walk to the altar is made up of all the little moments.

Janet has recently joined our team and serves as a Southern Table Specialist. As a recent BBG Mother of the Bride, Janet is ready to help you design that perfect table setting or pick up a great gift for a special friend.

Favorite China pattern: Anything holiday
Favorite China piece: I love platers
Best part of working with brides: Getting to know the bride and groom, their families and building lasting relationships with our clients.
Advice: pick China and gift items based on your style. Make your registry about what you want.
When not working: spending time with family, baseball games and shopping.

Favorite dress: Ohh, this is a tough one! I’d say it changes all the time. Right now I’m loving the custom design you can do with Jesus Perio dresses! You can really make it one of a kind.

Favorite Silhouette: I would definitely have to say a ballgown. While you really cannot go wrong with any silhouette, I love the drama and fun ballgown adds to your look. Because every girl wants to feel like Cinderella on her big day!

Best part of working with brides: This is honestly the best part of it all. Our brides become family. It’s so sweet spending time with each of them and getting to know who they are. I love helping them find a dress that makes them feel just as beautiful as they truly are.

When not working: While you might not see me around the store as much right now, I love working in the background of things during my free time. Market visits with family to find the perfect new additions to BBG, might just be my favorite.

Advice: It’s YOUR day! Soak in all the moments from picking out small details to the big ones like finding the perfect dress. It is such a sweet time wherefamily and loved ones get to celebrate you. So, leave some of that stress at home and just come have fun!

During 2015, alongside her daughter Mary Margaret, the Gilbert’s opened Bridals by Gilbert. With a passion for fashion Bridals by Gilbert was founded with the desire to provide Brides with quality garments and southern hospitality during your shopping experience.

Favorite dress: This changes on a regular basis for me. Don’t know that I can pick just one.
Favorite Silhouette: A statement gown. Just love to see a bride make a grand entrance.
Best part of working with brides: Everything. Customers, I love that our brides are not customers they become friends and family.
When not working: Spending time at the beach with family and friends, planting flowers and antique shopping.
Advice: Trust the process. I often share with brides that shopping for a wedding dress isn’t something you typically do on a regular basis. What looks good online may or may not fit you the same way. Be open to trying on different silhouettes and choose your entourage carefully. Too many opinions can be overwhelming. Lean on your stylist as she is there to assist and guide you, have fun and let us celebrate you during this time.

After photographing weddings for over 40 years; I took a break for 5 years to pursue other opportunities. During this break my family opened a full service bridal salon in downtown Perry.

I’m excited to get back to my passion of wedding photography. I am joined in this adventure by Molly Gilbert who is my daughter in law. We look forward to meeting with our future Brides and Grooms.
